A Brief overview
Ipswich Tuition Centre offers Maths, English and Science tutorials in small friendly groups with qualified teachers. We cater for primary and secondary students and all tuition sessions are designed exclusively for each individual.
Some of our students are high achievers who we challenge to learn more and attain higher. Whereas some students simply need support and encouragement in their learning, or have specific learning needs such as Dyslexia, Irlens and ASD. At the Ipswich Tuition Centre we aim to give all children the confidence they need to make real progress and achieve their personal goals.
Ipswich Tuition Centre is now located in the Saracens Head Business Centre, 25 St Margaret’s Street, close to the Town Centre. It is a very well-resourced learning environment where children feel comfortable and happy. We welcome all enquiries, including GCSE tuition and A Level resits. Please note that Childcare Vouchers are accepted.
The Ipswich Tuition Centre opened in September 2011. Between October 1994 and August 2011 the centre operated as Kip McGrath Education Centre. The Centre was run by Tony Fleming until August 2014 when Matt Mudie took over as the Centre Director. Matt studied for his teaching qualification at Nottingham Trent University and graduated in 2007.
Matt is an experienced Maths Teacher and has worked with 11 to 18 year old students in schools in Nottingham, Norfolk and Suffolk. Recently he has been working as a specialist support teacher and as a private tutor. He gained his first degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester.
